Default Where to move?

I am currently looking for a place to call home. I am 29 years old and single. I have 12 years Customer Service Experience and 4 of those years in Management and a degree in Computer Information Systems. I currently live in Atlanta, GA and I am from Canada originally. I also want some place low on crime. I want to start looking now since I have 5 months on my apartment lease and I would like to find a job and hope to move there then. What cities are best for jobs? Anything helpful I would glad to hear feedback. Thank you.

It really depends on a few factors... climate, cost of living, what company you work for, etc. If you are in customer service I would suggest going to Publix supermakrets or Wholefoods Market. Both have really good benefits athoug Publix is only in the Southeast.... Alabama,Georgia,Florida,South Carolina, and Eastern Tenn. Wholefoods is almost in every state and their benefits are better in my opinion. Columbia,SC is good,I live in the Birmingham area which has High crime but the other cities nearby like Hoover,MountainBrook,Greystone, and Vestavia are pretty good.

I am currently looking for a new place to live too! I am considering North Carolina.....the Triangle area because it's beautiful but everyone wants to go there now and they're ruining it. I've also been looking into Colorado(if you like the "Granola Culture") and Washington state. All the areas that are "affordable" seem to be "ghetto."

There is only one place that I really liked and felt safe and that was a small town in the middle of nowhere, Indiana. I'm sure you can imagine there's no work in Nowhere.
lol

Valparaiso or Lowell,Indiana are both safe, clean places to live. Work is close to these areas. Most anyplace in Kansas is safe.

You are already in the best city for jobs. Low crime? Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Kennesaw and Lawrenceville are all good places. What specifically in Kansas is it that you are looking for? I am from there and I am not knocking it but it does not offer nearly what you can find here and the weather there sucks all year too! And you will not find many fellow Canadians there (my wife is from Pickering ONT) nor is there a Canadian embassy there as here. But if you really want to move there, the best places are Lawrence, Overland Park, Olathe (KC suburbs), Derby and Mulvane (Wichita suburbs) and Salina. BTW transplanted Kansans hang out at Diggers Grill in Sandy Springs. The place is packed when KU, K State or WSU is on TV. You should come there and get opinions from ex Kansans who live here now. Nothing against Kansas- I have both family and property there- but I will not be moving back anytime soon.
