I want to take a vacation by train in kansas this summer. I don't really care about the destination more just the trip. Does anyone have any ideas of a good maybe two or three day trip that would be relaxing and just interesting?

Are you meaning via Amtrak? There is only route but I think that it might be interesting to take. I have been on this route but it was over 20 yrs ago and I don't remember much, except being told that we were passing the world's largest grain elevator in Hutchinson. The station in Dodge City was renovated about 5 yrs or so ago but I haven't been inside of it in about 15 yrs. Hope this link helps you. Happy Travels! Amtrak Route Atlas |
