Why is it unlawfull to back into stall garage in Wichita, KS? (hoa)

Today I got a parking ticket for backing into stall-garage in Wichita, Kansas.
I never knew that this is unlawful.

Can someone answer the following questions:
What is the rationale for backing into stall-garage to be unlawful?
Is this unlawful only in Wichita, KS?


Any explanation will be appreciated.

Front license plates aren't required, cars can't be identified without getting out and looking at the license plate if vehicles are backed into stalls

I've heard for years that it's illegal to park backward in parking stalls, but I've always assumed it's because you pull into a through lane of a parking lot going the wrong direction or because people don't see your white backup lights when you move. The response about the police needing to see the license plate makes sense. In any case, this is the first time in years I've heard the issue come up.

The police need to see the license plates. I know a cop here in Georgia and he told us that when the cops cruise through the parking lots of motels and see a car backed in, they always check it because many times it is either stolen or belongs to somebody with warrants.

I believe that I will now begin backing into the parking places. That way the cops will get some exercise to offset all those donuts.

I Am confused....were you on private property? I mean where would a cop be that you would be ticketed for backing into a parking spce?
what do you mean by a stall garage? like a regular garge on you house or in a parking garage?
I cna;t believe a wichita cop actually had the wherewithal to find the energy to do this.....
