I'm with Plains. I like the Arikaree Breaks.
(We're in the process of building a house a couple miles south of where I snapped this pic)

I guess that means you will be a part time KS resident then?

Once the house is liveable, we'll be full time Kansas residents.
*sigh*
I'll have to eat every smart crack I've ever made about Kansans...

I live on the highest hill in Miami County, but probably not what you are looking for.

Lifetime resident of the Plainville Area. Familiar with twin mounds, but not the hill West of Plainville you speak of. Gotta check that out The state of Kansas built a communications tower on R road NW of Plainville, because that was the highest spot in the area, but it isn't much of a "Hill". The KJLS tower North of Yocomento in Ellis county is another on of those high spots.

I am familiar with that area. If you go further east of Plainville into Osborne County the topography becomes more interesting with butte formations.
I also like the "badlands" area of northern Ellis County which sort of feels like portions of New Mexico or Colorado.

I don't know where the biggest hill in KS but can almost guarantee there's a police officer there...waiting at the bottom with a radar gun!
