Pratt (Wichita, Junction City, Clay Center: apartments, renting, credit)

Is Pratt a good place for a retired single woman? If not, suggestions, please. Looking for lower crime, and small house around $100,000. Thank yoi.

What is attracting you to Pratt, as that would be helpful to know in suggesting other choices. I, myself, would not move to SW KS, so am not really familiar with the area. Have you looked at Council Grove? What size town population wise are you looking for and what other criteria are you using to make your choice. Clay Center is supposed to be fairly nice. I have been to Lindsborg one time, and have always heard good things about it.

We are in Junction City, and I don't recommend it, but we have lived in Bourbon, Saline, Riley, and Lyon Counties in the past.

Pratt has some kind of social harassment scam as does Wichita/Kingman. It's from old Boeing Company time in Wichita and ran the area to bankrupt hunting down the female workers. Most of the biz moved away since 1980. Now unsafe medical from Wichita is all that is left except the crack cocaine and welfare wage store workers...


Really, may just get a travel trailer and keep moving until you find what you want. Kansas problem is Boeing workers/retirees saw a female alone and would ATTACK on anything visiting especially if they could get your SS# from a job. These ruined your car. The drug addicts would go after lady's apartment.



Council Grove hired people from out of town and ruined them in a few months including their vehicle then try to bed the lady to house a parasite. There's also sex abuse out of multiple area's nursing homes. Internet isn't stable for work so ... This is nice visit for a few days to find the first Indian reservation and historical, original flint hills prairie...



You might just sell most stuff and keep moving between apartments every 1 year until you find what you like. Sleep on floor, keep camping gear furniture, work from home, but must lie to landlord as cannot 'work' from apartment, and keep the belongings light.



Can get Ein# so you can work remote or 1099 temp jobs as contractor and keeps you SS# private.



Really, Kansas has gotten so bad the nursing homes closed in rural spots as no way to keep off the traveling sex abusers and freaks. Dirty sheriffs due to the meth in rural areas kept. Mr. Epstein groups running cities and higher priority than the workers they ruin with psych label for victims to discredit.


Is there better? Not that great in Colorado as the kids are all brags without work or druggies. Landlords don't keep anyone long as the cops WON'T control the kids or racketeering/drug gang groups even in rural spots. It's just a psych case kind of place or roving gangs of thugs/thieves.



REALLY, You might go to the RV life for a while and see yourself as blessed. There are traveling groups of women you can join so safety in numbers...If you catch anyone bragging about harming anyone or threatening people, you need to leave as some will feed you to their abuser to reduce own suffering. Otherwise, some lakes (corp of engineers and state parks) got bad employees that are permitting harm of females so can make sense to camp as small town city parks by the fair grounds. Might skip the men if they start to lie or inconsistent stories as seems some of these are freaks out of wrong predator employers/churches with no ethics and nothing will stop them from doing anything they want...Can go back to old male friends/colleagues as you know who is a freak or weak already so will have the company or pick up a gay guy travelmate for relief...


Good luck! I would go with you but just took in a felon roommate who would be homeless. We're told renting around Kansas 'can't live alone around here anymore' and start to get harassed by drug addicts/wealthy predators for usage so better I'm not alone I will accept with this male. I'm NOT going to be able to work in Kingman area as there is some kind of Boeing worker attack on new females that's so bad it's like n-word attack by huge number of people/workers while out in public. I needed to work for another decade to 15 years would have been best, but...I have eldercare duties closeby but she's okay for 2-4 more years probably so could casually work elsewhere myself looking for better place and move my elders with me soon after.
