More than Texans, that's for sure! Texas does not tax food. Wish I could move back but have to wait a few years, lol.

Using an online sales tax calculator it is 6.3%; 5.3% for the state and 1.0% for Sedgwick county. Further says only prescription drugs are sales tax exempt.

Where I am now - we don't even get taxed on some fast food!!!!

I know where I lived in KS - we were near 7% on sales tax!!!

I live in Northern California and recently checked my tax on fast food. About ten percent. Ouch

Here in GA we don't pay any tax on food.
