car dealers in wichita (Hope: buying, college, auctions)

Hi all,

I heard that car in wichita is a must. could anybody recommend a reliable car dealers? 6k- 7k would buy a good shape used car? Some used cars have warranty? This would be my first car, Is it better to get a new car? any suggestions? Thanks.

Most likely you will need a car in Wichita.
You will do ok with a used car in that range.
I had horrible luck with used car's when i was younger but we are talking..
Cars i bought for 1-3K lol.
I assume you are young(1st Car) and possibly going to college soon?
You could get a nice used car for your money.
Personally i would stay away from a car payment depending on your situation.
Of course If you put the money you have on the down payment you would..
Drive away with good interest rate and low payments on a new car.

First and most crucial rule to vehicle purchasing in Wichita, Kansas: Stay off of South and north Broadway. Trust me.

The best pre-owned lot in town is the Davis Moore 5505 location - that is, 5505 E. Kellogg. Matter of fact, any Davis Moore lot will do you well - they don't deal in junk. They send their less than worthy trade-in's to the auctions and keep the best.

Brandon Steven Motors has some nice vehicles.

Eck is alright - they have one of the best service departments in town.

I know what I know because I used to work for every single dealership in Wichita as an automotive painter. It's been a few years ago and things might have changed. But this is how it was back then.

Warranties are exclusive to the dealer you buy from. Some offer them - some don't.

College Hill seems to know his stuff,any how i would not buy a used car really your just buying someone else drama.7k is a very nice down in the long run you got to ask your self if you want a car to last for 10+ years or a few years.

Buying cars in wichita, ever drive to Kellogg and think damn so many dealers.....Its a good business in wichita since you wont find anotther dealer of the same make in wichita you will pay top dollar no deals.Honestly dont buy a car in wichita unless your getting a good deal, most used car dealers sell salvage cars and the new dealers dont budge a cent since there only 1 dealer per make in wichita there is no competition so they know its either you buy from them or nothing.

shop online i guess get a honda with low mileage on ebay 7k should bring that in thats you best bet.
