Is anyone on here from Pittsburg or have family from Pittsburg? My whole family is from P-burg. I haven't been back in like 3 years but I want to return. I've got some really neat pics of that town that I would like to share...

No family there, but I grew up outside of St. Paul and graduated college from PSU.

Thats good. How's the night life at PSU? I know its a great school but I can't imagine going to college in a town of 20,000 and in the middle of nowhere...

In the middle of "nowhere"? It's "somewhere" for a lot of people. Many people love the fact they live in an area that is not congested with people, traffic, crime, pollution, corruption, etc. I'd even suggest a person's quality of life is much greater living in a place called "nowhere" as opposed to living in/around a large metropolitan area. No stress = quality of life!

Brian, I totally agree with you. Half my family is from Pittburg, and whenever I visit I get this genuine "good" feeling that runs through my body. I know all the local haunts including 1106, Chicken Annie's, Chicken Mary's, and my grandparents got married in the big hotel with the tower downtown.

I am sure that there is bus service to P-Burg. Does anyone know of another way to get this young lady down to PSU?

There isn't any bus service between the airport in KC and Pittsburg. The best thing to do is rent a car and head down 69 highway.
I use to have family in Pittsburg but everyone is gone now.
I was back last December and the town is college kids or welfare. It's NOT at all like it use to be when I grew up there.
