Default O'Hara

Hi there,

Best wishes from Scotland.
I'm researching my family history and I've discovered a Hugh O'Hara who was born in Scotland in 1854 and died in Frontenac in 1927. Does anyone know how I might find out more about this guy and his descendents?

I would start by contacting the city of Frontenac. They may be able to give you some information on the history of the town. They may also be able to provide phone listings and/or historical records.

City of Frontenac, Kansas

You might want to try the State Library of Kansas for genealogy resources. Check out its "Ask a Librarian" features at Inside the Library, State Library of Kansas.

Might be an airport in Chicago named after him!

My paternal grandmother was an O'Hara, but they lived in Oklahoma. Best of luck to you finding this information. I've always really enjoyed my family history.
