My husband just got a job with a company that is working on the refinery in Coffeyville and we are looking for a place to rent preferable in Coffeyville, but may have to stay in a neighboring town if we cant find anything.
The rent is outrageous there, i guess because of all the workers coming in and it is hard to find a good place. Does anyone know of any nice 2bedroom houses coming up for rent or know of a close town that they would recommend. My husband is on his way up there right now to stay with 4 other people in a tiny apartment. I am staying behind in Arkansas with our daughter and will be headed up there in May. I really would like to have a house to live in when we get there ;0) If any of the apartment complexes are nice we may consider that. I've never lived in an apartment. Dont know how it would be being so close to people. I'm used to living in the country surrounded by trees and cant even see any houses much less have someone on the other side of the wall, floor, ceiling, etc ;0) Anybody got any ifo that could help me? Thanks Natasha |

I would suggest that you run an ad in the Coffeyville Journal newspaper. You can find them by doing a Google search. If that doesn't work, get an atlas and look at some other towns around Coffeyville that would be a suitable commute and call their real estate offices. You might start with Independence. That area of Kansas has a decent cost of living so you should be able to find something that works. Good luck!
