best little chicken place in kansas
i was recently near my land in souteast kansas.. and drove to pittsburg to try chicken annies.. it was good but not great.. i thought the servings were on the small side... the service was real slow and not especially friendly.. the best thing was the german potato salad... i tired a differntt chicken place a bit north in bronson kansas.. and that gets my vote as number 1//// far superior to chicken annies anyways.. couldnt finish my portion and tasted fresher

Brookeville, Interstate I70, close to Abilene. The chicken is pan fried and served home style. Really worth the drive!

Better than Annie and a HECK of a lot better than Storud's in Kansas City.

Chicken Annie's on the South end of town has definitely cut down on the portion size. Still worth the road trip for the slaw and potato salad.
Dallas to Pittsburg is definitely a road trip  |

I make the road trip to Chicken Annie's annex quite often from Tulsa! I don't care if the pieces are small, just order more pieces, that's an easy problem to fix! Did you order their onion rings, if not you need to go back!!
