I dont know about any of you, but I think that a great place is Cozy in salina, they have the best burgers.

We went there on Mother's Day and they had live music and they gave every woman a rose and free desert. Wish we lived closer to it. |

Best ribs ever----Hog Wild. They have about 4 places in Wichita and one in Hutch. For the best chicken fajita go to El Potrillo in Hutch.

Oklahoma Joe's isn't quite a mom and pop anymore, but its awesome. They opened a second location.
The BBQ Shack in Paola is AWESOME. They were on the Food Network I think.
Lawrence has a bunch of great non-chain places - Free State Brewery, Krause Dining, Teller's, Papamacha's, Zen Zero, La Parilla.

Felipe's is good for Mexican food as well. They have around 3 locations in Wichita.
