I don't have any current information for the OP, but I perhaps have a little history-
Back in 1995 or 1996 or so, I toured an old schoolhouse in Florence that was for sale that had just recently been restored/refurbished. I don't recall if it was an operating B&B at that time, but I think it was.
I suspect it's the same building that was mentioned by the OP (I would doubt Florence would have two such buildings, although it's possible). Doing a commute back and forth to Wichita (where I work) seemed too daunting to actually do, but the building was fascinating, and the resto seemed nicely done (at least based on a quick tour).
I haven't stayed current on what later happened with the building (e.g., whether it became or stayed a B&B, or if it became a personal residence), and old buildings (even if recently updated) can always bring lots of surprises, but if I was moving to Florence, I'd sure look into it.
