Moving to Johnson County in the spring
I am moving to Johnson County in the spring and I heard Overland Park and Olathe areas are nice. Can someone provide me with the better school districts in those areas?
Better yet, which schools are located in which district?

We are also moving to Johnson county in the Spring. In my research I started with www.greatschools.net. Blue Valley School District in Overland is appearing to be the best school district. Olathe School District has a few good schools but not as many as Blue Valley. We still haven't made up our mind yet. I'm really torn between living in Overland or Olathe. We will know more when we make a visit out there in a few weeks. Let me know how your research goes as well.

Olathe, Blue Valley and Shawnee Mission are all good school districts.

JOCO School
I agree...most of the school districts in JOCO are far superior to those in MO.

Blue Valley Schools
I personally love the Blue Valley Schools. They are rated nationally. We live in one of the top rated elementry/Middle school.(Harmony) I can't say enough about the school. Parental involment is amazing... You can't beat the location to schools, parks and shopping. We are relocating in June to North Carolina....We are having a hard time finding an equal school. Our home is for sale if interested. Don't know your price range. If anyone is interested. Good luck with your move.
