Default Best bank in Wichita?
I am relocating to Wichita in a couple of weeks and am wanting some feedback on the personal experience with the various banks in the area. The bank that I currently use and have used for years is only regional. I don't currently pay any monthly fees or anything like that, so, if possible, I would like to find a free checking account.

Any comments or experience would be helpful. Thanks!

Intrust Bank has free checking and has many, many locations and ATM's.

Emprise Bank has free checking but not as many locations. Their employees have always seemed friendliest among the banks I've used.

Fidelity Bank has free checking and locations in Wal-Marts, which is pretty convenient.

I haven't had experiences with any other banks, but hopefully that gets you started.

I have had InTrust for years and love the online banking and free checking. They have ATM's (cash withdraw only) at the local QuickTrips. They have full banks in a lot of the Dillons stores in and around the area.
