My friend once said that the reason he can't get into it is that they mix English and Spanish in the raps. For example:

Cruisin' down the calle headed for the volo
Noone to go wit me so I had to go solo

....

If it gets out of hand I know some mafiosos
Who will pull out cuetes on some stupid a** babosos


Personally I enjoy Mr. Criminal, Mr. Shadow, LSOB (who aren't really recording anymore), and others. But it's a valid argument against the music. It's likely one of the main reasons they don't get radio play. But then you have to remember that LSOB was as mainstream as they came; the music was "safe", so they got a pass.
