Why is everyone racist to mexicans (Gas, Republic: legally, gangs, to move)

Let's keep this discussion related to Kansas and the OP's concerns please. Otherwise, the discussion can continue in the politics forum, but not here.

What exactly has been said that was off topic? OP asked why people are racist towards Mexicans and is getting thier answer. There are lots of reasons, its not a narrow topic.

If they can come over here and make their living off the American people we can darn sure make a living on them if it comes to it. If that makes me a hypocrite in your eyes then fine, I could really care less what your opinion of me is though.

They bring the racism on themselves and deserve every last bit of it. If they don't want to be treated like second class citizens then they should abide by our laws and learn how to function like the rest of us in society or go home. Period.

But who is "they?" I think the problem comes when you try to apply statements like that to Americans of Mexican descent who are legal citizens - perhaps from families long-established in the US - and confuse them with actual undocumented Mexican nationals.

Those groups often don't have anything to do with one another. So why combine them?

American of Mexican descent who are legal do not poop in the yard. When they visit relatives they do not have to sneak across the border to return. They do not carry third world diseses. They are bilingual. They know better than to park in the middle of an Interstate in fog with no emergency lights flashing, They have some type of education. Their grandparents came for the right reason and they worked for what they have. I regularly did business with legal Mexicans. I lived amogst the illegal Mexan drug dealers who are the scourge of the earth. I know the difference. It iddn't make any diff how well they dressed. They are bums.

But I do NOT assume that everyone I meet who remotely looks like they might be Mexican/Hispanic IS an illegal alien and on that basis decide to despise them.

I first assume they are like your son in law until I know differently. That's the difference between you and me.

I don't know what the driver was thinking. But your compassion is overwhelming.

Roll your eyes all you want. It wasn't your relative that died in that mess and it wasn't your taxes that cleaned it up, was it? I didn't think so.

The driver was an illegal Mexican with no valid license. He killed his wife and children. He was stupid to stop and turn off his lights. A semi rolled over his car. It jacknifed, killed the semi driver, and caused a 20 vehicle pile up that killed two innocent seniors and injured scores of other. The truckers who were not hurt were on the scene trying to help trapped passengers before emergency vehicles ever came. They had to backtrack 20 miles before they could get to the scene. It brought state, county, city from four states and transported to five hospitals in two states. Some did not survive. It looked like a war zone.

I have no tears of compassion. Let me rephrase that. I have abour as much compassion for an ILLEGAL ALIEN n as I do a rabid dog.

lets deport congress and give there jobs to poor families .hand them out legal mexicans first...........

What an uneducated question you pose!! Most people are not racist, they are upset because many if not most of these people are here illegally! Has nothing to do with being racist.

Actually it has everything to do with racism, because most Mexicans in this country are NOT here illegally (see page 3) and yet they are ASSUMED to be here illegally and despised as though they were because of the way they look. That is the definition of racism.

They think that the border does not exist, as they say "we did not cross the border, the border crossed us!"

They also believe that they have rights to the entire continent and that they have a sacred duty to take it all back and wipe the "gringo" out in the process.
