Why is everyone racist to mexicans
Why is everyone racist. On several forums about garden city always complain about mexicans. They have no real reason for this. Only god could judge us.

Welcome to Kansas my friend! It's one of the things I don't love about my home state. Garden City has a growing population of Mexicans and people are slow to accept change and any shift in demographics. But it's certainly not limited to Garden City nor is it limited to Mexicans. KS has equal opportunity racism!
But know that not "everyone" is racist. Ignore the ignorant as best you can and live your best life.

Kansas is a red as it gets maybe just behind Oklahoma. Why do you think in Topica is home to the West Boro Baptist church, you know the ones that hold up signs that god loves dead GIs at their funerals, and God hates fags and a stick figure bent over with another behind it. And the leader said that now that George Carlin is dead he believes in Hell because he is there. If I were in Topica I would Hang those bastards. But somehow Kansas puts up with it.

I can tell you for sure I have never met one person who agreed with those horrible people in Topeka. Trust me if there was something we could do we would, however murdering someone because of what they say (no matter how dispicable it is) doesn't really solve anything does it? Freedom of speech while in my opinion extremely important can be a double edged sword when it comes to losers like these. As best as I can figure we just have to push for legislation keeping them from disrupting funerals etc.

There are so many lawyers in that Phelps family that they can find loopholes in any laws on the books. No one in Topeka enjoys the fact that they're here. But there is nothing that can be done about them. They operate within the bounds of the law. Sucks, I know.
Sorry... off topic.

You know, what's funny is the title of this thread caught my eye due to something in Kansas while driving from Texas to Minnesota. I'm white, my wife is Mexican-American and so is her aunt. The three of us were driving with our daughter on I-35 around the turnpike. We passed a trooper and were immediately pulled over. He asked to search our car, which I consented to as a. we had nothing to hide and b. I figured he'd give us a bs ticket if we said no. So there I was with my family and my daughter on the side of I-35 who was 6 at the time with traffic whizzing by as at 70 miles an hour. There was no reason whatsoever for him to pull us over. His reason was probable cause due to Texas plates. Needless to say, I go around Kansas now and will never step foot in Kansas ever again. And I told all my friends, all my co-workers, family etc to avoid Kansas also. And I truly hope everyone else that was pulled over in our situation did the same. I don't put up with profiling.

I think people take out their frustration on imigrants, they associate the influx of imigrants with the economic decline of an area. most of them are too ignorant to realized imigrants are saving their town from becoming an old cattle ghost town. they are also too stupied to do the math and add up how many Mexican dollars are circulating in their city. They are also too stupied to know that the so called Kansas Cowboy culture was taught to the white man by Mexican Vacaros.

Having just moved here from texas, I took my time changing my plates....never once been pulled over here personally nor experienced any other hassle from anyone.
However I have heard similar stories from Midwestern states. When they see Texas plates they have a greater tendency to pull them over (pssssst.....it's because of all the drug trafficing that comes from Mexico through Texas).
