Default Property Values In Junction City, KS

We have been watching the property values in Junction City, KS for awhile hoping to be able to come back but even though the market is loaded down with houses, they are grossly overpriced - we know the properties. I have seen a tiny drop in some of the properties just recently. I am thinking that most of the troops are in place now and know that they built a lot of new housing on post. If the high prices continue, we are going back to Alabama near Fort Rucker where housing prices are better and the economy is less dependent on the military. Whenever Fort Riley cuts back, the economy really takes a dive and it has been like a see saw for years and we wouldn't want to be caught in buying a house thats value reduced overnight.
