Roofing
I worked one summer for Best roofing in Wichita
604 Baily st. Small world huh? One of the guys
was always saying "good thing about roofing they
hire you right out of prison". If a big hail storm
hits a city get a hammer and go. You'll have work.
Best luck

I would think that the airplane factories would hire ex felons for non management factory positions that do not involve having a security clearance. I don't know for sure though. When my older step brother got out of Lansing he went to the Seventh Step Foundation over on Seneca St and they got him a job at a car glass factory on Murdock (Safelight I think). I do not know if they still exist or not.
Modcut- too much personal info about OP It is hard trying to go right after prison. I hope you have more sucess than many people do. Best of luck!
BTW you look like you might be part indian. If so which tribe? I am 1/4th Osage myself.

Start your own business, sell amway or mary kay products, play the stock market, work at a gas station, buy and sell things on ebay, paint houses, be a handyman. Basically, whatever your skills are take advantage of it and find something that is somewhat related. Internet based jobs like medical transcripts or something may be available, as long as you can type somewhat quickly. Good luck.
