I live in Wichita and go to Maharaja on N. Broadway, but I think the Indian buffet at Ruchi in Overland Park is the best I've had in Kansas.

There's also Passage to India near 21st and Woodlawn in Wichita. I've heard good and bad reviews of it.

India palace in Lawrence. I love that place. The KC area in general (Kansas and Missouri side) has quite a few good Indian restaurants IMO.

We love KORMA SUTRA in Corporate Woods in Overland Park. Awesome buffet at lunch!

Korma Sutra for lunch buffet
Touch of Asia for dinner
Both are found in Overland Park and are about a mile from each other along Metcalf

Taste of India in Lawrence is the best I've had in this country! Every time I travel, I visit Indian restaurants; nothing compares to India Palace.
There are a few other good ones in KC though!
