Question Rest Stops on highway 69 between Joplin and KS City?

I have to drive up to Iowa for a few days and normally I take highway 71 from the Joplin area to the Kansas City area before continuing on I-35. However, I am bringing one of my dogs with me this time and would like to have rest stops available for her. 71 doesn't have any. Does highway 69?

I've spent the last hour and a half trying to find the info for myself online to no avail and figured I might do better asking people who actually live in Kansas.

I drive on 69 Highway from KC to Pittsburg quite a bit. It's almost 4 lanes the whole way now!

Rest stops ... hmmm ... No not really. About halfway is the little town of Pleasanton and there is a convenience stop there that is handy and enough room that you could get out and walk her around a bit.

Same deal at Louisburg exit along with a couple of fast food options. More places to stop as you get closer to KC, but they will be busier and have less grass around them.

Hope that helps!
