Hello: I'm in the process of relocating to either Olathe or Overland Park, KS in the near future. Could someone give me some insight into the employment situation in those areas, other than what I'm finding on Careerbuilder.com and Monster.com? I have extensive administrative experience and have a college education, so information on salaries would be helpful as well. Thanks.

I would say 30-35k is an average entry level salary for many fields, but it's hard to tell exactly what you're looking for. However, it's been my experience that most jobs, especially upper level, don't make it to CareerBuilder. Once you're out here it's easier to make connetions and get a feel for further job opportunities.

Go to a Borders or large newstand and buy a Kansas City Star Sunday newpaper.
