Exclamation Moving to Pittsburg, Need help!!

My boyfriend, his friend and I are moving to Pitt from Wichita. Im going there to go to school in the fall and the other two are tagging along. I was trying to rent a house there but so many of them are against animals (so strange) so instead in looking into getting a morgage and buying a home, possibly foreclosed. Can anyone give me any infomation on utilites, rentals that accept pets, jobs, or anything else. I plan to move in by July 1st of this year. Please, I need help and am getting very overwhelmed. I'm planning another trip on thursday (5/28/09)

I would tell them you have an "out side Pet"
Nearly 50% of the houses in Pittsburg are rentals and 5% of the population owns them, some individuals own a 100 or more houses. Conner realty is a company that manages rentals and does not necessarily own them. Most of the rental homes in Pittsburg were built pre-50's, Most of the jobs seem to be in at the Hospital, they are one of the three largest employers,

620-249-5767 This is number I pulled from their online paper it is a rental for $500-600, for a three bedroom in an area called fieldcrest, Fieldcrest is very close to campus and the hospital and if I remember they are somewhat new homes built in the 70's. they do allow pets

Thanks for the help. I called the number but no one answered so i left a message. I still wanna know about the average cost of utilities such as: gas, water, and trash. I am transfering my electric and cable over so no worries there.
