Smile which towns might you suggest for a young family with middle income?

My wife and I were thinking of moving to the wichita area. we are a fairly young couple with an 8 year old daughter, are looking to spend no more than $85,000, and are hoping for some land as well. Is there any areas in which we might hope to find. We are now living in Iowa with a descent home of that price, just need to get away. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. We have been looking for a very long time now and we just want to make the right choice, for we intend this to be our last move.

Try Denton - the town right after Andover, Andover is just outside of Wichita.

are there any areas that are more plentiful for jobs right now in the wichita or surrounding areas? it is also one of the main details of our move. It's so hard to find everything we require in our move. Good school, nice area, jobs, ect. ect... We want to be within 20 minutes of the city but to live in an area we can afford. Can anyone give us some cities that can fit our requirements? Blue collar jobs are the main area we are looking for in jobs. Construction and so forth. Thanks for anything

I am also looking for a very affordable area next to or near a town of at least 8,000 in population. It is a plus if the area is dying and everyone is moving away. I do not care about schools because I have no children. I was thinking of somewhere around 30 miles of Wichita or five miles around Hutchinson. I would also look at other areas that are affordable if they were around a decent city with some amenaties like a Walmart.
