Default Positives and Negatives of moving to Colorado

I am just wondering if there are any positives and negatives for moving to the Denver area. I dont really know very much about that area so anything will be great.

Con: Housing is significantly more expensive than in JoCo. A house that would sell for 180-200k here goes for about 275k there.

Pro or con depending on what you like: Climate is different. Air is much dryer

Pro: Beautiful mountains. Feels like you are sitting on top of the world :-) It really does *feel* higher.

Pro or con: Proximity to family

Thanks, houses cost a lot more there than they do here.

Houses cost more nearly everywhere compared to KS. (excluding rural areas).

Denver:
Pros:
A sunny climate
A growing diverse economy
Proximity to outdoor activities
Proximity to mountains
Dry Air; LOW humidity
Much better singles scene

Cons:
Very fast population growth
Some pollution issues
Higher cost of living
A fairly far drive to other large cities.

I have relatives that live in Wheat Ridge which is next to Denver and they love it there! The only complaint they have that they say air pollution is bad in the summer there. Other than that, they love it!
