Hi! I have been given a preliminary offer to teach in Salina, KS. I am trying to move closer to Iowa, and since its hard to get a teaching job out there, this seems like a good location right now. I want to get some information about living expenses, crime, jobs.... etc

My fiance does not have degree, other than a two year business degree. He has many skills, but would love to get back involved in farming of a good factory job. Would any of these fit Salina?

Come and check us out! We have been in an extended housing boom, so house prices have been jumping upwards. It seems to have leveled off some now. Our schools have a great reputation. Most of our schools have new additions or have just been remodeled.

A lot of the crime stats depend upon how thorough the reporting agency was. I suspect there are a lot of cities downplaying or under reporting their serious crimes.

We have plenty of factories here. We are are an agricultural trade center, so your other half should be able find something to his liking. Good people are an asset, so come check us out. Glen
