Default Put a deposit down for an apartment, but want to downsize at same complex. Is this possible?

I put deposit down to hold an apartment today for a 3 bedroom, I am now wanting to see if I can get a 2 bed at the same complex. They have several 2 bedrooms available and the 3 beds are in high demand so I figure it wouldn't be a big deal. I want to call tomorrow and see, do you think the management would dislike this? I have not signed a lease at all.

I doubt it will be a big deal at all. If it is, you don't want to live there!
