tier II unemployment (insurance, credit, bills)

I am wondering if anyone has received their tier II benefits in kansas, how it is working. I received a letter on june 7, 09 filled it out returned it and then a month later received another letter because i had a temp. job for 3 wks and had to add that. I still haven't gotten a letter as to whether i qualify or not. Is there anyone who has at least got approved that can tell me how it is working. I originally did all mine online so are they going back to the old way paper? Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

I filed my Tier II on June the 11th and today received a check but it was only for one month and I was owed 2 1/2 months so sill will be 1 1/2 months behind in my bills...late charges very expensive. But, it was much better then nothing. I noticed you filed about the same time. I do not know if they lost my claim or filed it in the wrong program or what, but do know that there are thousands out there with the same problem. I do not know when the balance that is due me will be paid. If you have not done so, you need to file for food stamps and call United Way at 611. I waited way too long. Be sure and keep in touch with your creditors. If you always paid your bills on time before you were unemployed they will work with you but you have to call. I had a Sears account which I have been paying insurance on for years every month. I did not know I had it. I filed for them to start paying about 3 months ago but they are not paying yet and they keep calling me and telling me I have to pay or the insurance will be cancelled and they will not pay anything. Can not believe it. In case you have Sears Insurance, call Customer Care and they will give you the information to file.
