Sad about Greensburg,KS
I feel so bad for the residents of Greensburg. I hope the fatalities will not continue to go up. What an awful tragedy.

My aunt and uncle live there-they are fortunately O. K., but their house and metal-working shop were completely flattened. The town had about 15 minutes warning so they headed to the basement and spent the night there. The help response has been great-when they came out at daybreak there were police officers and rescuers looking for survivors, and shelters already being set up. A friend is loaning them a house to live in until they can rebuild or decide where to move. Unfortunately, almost all the businesses in this small town were destroyed and who knows how many will choose to reopen.

God be with you all in Greensburg, KS
So very sorry to hear of this tragedy. I can't imagine what it must be like but it sure does sound like the responders are doing their jobs. We will send some money to help as soon as we can find the proper place to send it. Probably one of the churches.

No, actually there is another strong system headed that direction tonight (Sat.) which could produce more tornadoes. Hopefully it will just blow over and not cause damage to any other towns.

Can I add my sympathies. Saw the report on UK news and crist it's bad isn't it.
Hope people are strong and able to re-build their lives.

We're thinking about all of you too...a couple of years ago we traveled through Kansas and probably went very near the Greensburg area on our way to Dodge City.
May God be with all of you!

From up in So. Dak. I'd also like to offer my condolences to everyone and their families down there. We saw all the pics on the weather channel yesterday and were just so thankful that so many survived. I'd also like to offer my best wishes for those of you who are going through the flooding that's been going on down there.

My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Greensburg. We're in Olathe, and this could just as easily have hit us. We will certainly do what we can to contribute to the cleanup and recovery effort.
