Default "Old" Rock Island Park in KCK.

Does anyone know anything about the old Rock Island Park in KCK circa 1925? All my aunts and uncles are gone so I no longer have that generation to ask. I spent the first 26 years of my life there and I have never heard of it. I tried Google and had no luck. I think it should have been in the vicinity of 12th and Sandusky. TIA.

There is a park called "Waterway Park" that is a block north and 1/2 block east of 12th and Sandusky and another park called "Northrup Park" at 9th and Sandusky. Could either of them be it?
