my husband, my son & i are moving to the manhattan area next summer. i'm baffled by how good the schools are supposed to be in st. george since the town is so small, but if they're that good, we'd live there & commute to manhattan. does anyone have comments about st. george? thanks in advance.

I live in St. George and honestly there's not much to it: a gas station, a church, one restaurant, a post office the size of a cubicle, and a scuzzy bar. Most everyone who lives there has multiple acres, it's nice quiet country life and quite close to Manhattan. Manhattan also has good schools though they're much larger, the last graduating class had over 400 students.

Hope this helps!

The unemployment rate hovers around 3%, which is amazing!
