Default Where is a Farmers Co-op

I live in Kansas City and a friend that lives in Topeka told me she feeds her wild birds Chicken Scratch that she buys at a Co-op because it's much cheaper than bird food.
Does anyone know where a Co-op is in Kansas City or how I even go about finding one?
I've searched but apparently I'm not using the right terms.
Thanks!

Thank you for your reply.
I apologize for not making myself clearer. I mean a Farmers Co-op like the one when I was a kid my Dad would buy grain/feed for our horses sometimes.

Kansas City Star | Classifieds

This may be your best bet. Farmers seem to have newspaper ads and/or email addresses, not detailed websites. Good luck!

Just about every small-ish town in Kansas has a grain elevator/Co-op. I'd look under "Grain Company" "Feed Co." or "Co-op"

I don't have any current info but I know there used to be one in Edgerton and also in Lawrence (about 19th and Haskell). I also believe there was, at one time, a feed store over in Merriam at about Johnson Drive and Merriam Drive.

Can't help you on the KS side but in Missouri look for the MFA's (Missouri Farmers Association) in outlying areas from KCMO; just look for the grain elevators.
