I don't see the crime...?
Sammie mentions the crime, gangs, etc. I sure don't see it, I think the news organizations exaggerate it for ratings. I work in Wichita, in an industrial type neighborhood and haven't had ANY problems. Of course, you take the normal precautions. I may not want to live on every single block in Wichita, but I can sure drive through them without any problem (something I never did in D.C.).
Perhaps K.C. should just go to...ummm let me see...K.C.?
(speaking of crime and rundown neighborhoods).
Progress? I'd say getting the flight rates down is PROGRESS; building a large arena is PROGRESS; getting Kellogg done is PROGRESS; increase in jobs and decline in unemployment is PROGRESS; now if only we could get the dimwits that complain about EVERYTHING to leave...that would be REAL PROGRESS!!!
