If you are a golfer, do not pass up the chance to visit the Sand Hills Golf Club.

The only course in the United States that gives an Old Course at St. Andrews feel without going to Scotland.

I would suggest Highway 83, but it seems a little out of your way if you're leaving from Tulsa. The monument rocks just south of Oakley are actually very cool, at least I thought they were worth it. If you're wanting to see some prairie, I would recommend the western part of the state expecially. Also in Oakley is a Prairie Dog Town, you honestly would have to see it to believe it, I would like to go into detail about it but you wouldn't believe me. 6-Legged Steers, prairie dogs, rattlesnakes, 8,000 pound prairie dog, etc. Honestly, if its not out of your way that is a must.

In that case, go to Yahoo maps and run the route for:
A) Tulsa, OK to
B) Garden City, KS
C) North Platte, NE
D) Thedford, NE
E) Chadron, NE
F) Interior, SD

The route it comes up with will take you up the previous guy's recommendation of Hwy 83 in Kansas, then lead you into my suggestion for Hwy 2 and 385 in Nebraska, and onto the Badlands National Park

If I did it right, this should take you to the map: Tulsa-Badlands-Remote-Lands
