Default Working In Missouri and Taxes

I am currently thinking about taking a job working in Missouri and I am looking at apartments on the Kansas side. Before I get locked into both a lease and a job contract I wanted to find out about the tax situation. I have heard that living in Kansas and working in Missouri is a BAD idea and that Kansas will tax your income made in Missouri on top of what you already paid to Missouri. I would like to know about other peoples experince with this. Is this true or just an old wives tale? Would I be a great deal better off to live on the Missouri side?

I don't think you will get double taxed, no matter what state you work in you will have to file the income tax return, if you work in Missouri, and live in Kansas, you will only file the one w2 for that job.
