Default Sheridan County or Lane County????

Can anyone tell me about these two counties? Are there any big differences between the two? Which one has a stronger economy? They seem farely close to each other so assume there is no big difference in weather? How nice are the people in these counties?

Default Sheridan county info

I am from sheridan county and yes we are loosing people to bigger places the job market is close to none here at least for anything with decent pay...and then its not very good...as for people for the most part we are friendly but it is a close community and outsiders are not always appreciated at first until we get to know them....it is a good calm place to raise children tho not much crime to speak of, I would say its pretty quiet and easygoing around here.

I lived in Gove County for ten years, and am a Kansas Native. Gove County is between Sheridan and Lane Counties. I was always an outsider even though I participated strongly in all community events and contributed to the economy. It is a tough area to break into if you are an outsider.
