It's a joke. lol
Kansas has never had trees. What are here were carefully planted and cared for.

Truly, I have nothing against NJ. Never been there.
I just don't like cities in general. I can't imagine why someone would want to live where they are constantly surrounded by other people.
No thanks! To me, if I can see my neighbor's place, they're too close!

I LOVE Kansas. People who think they see it on I-70 need to ride across the state on Ks 156, US 50 (arround Kinsley, Lakin, Cimmaron, Dodge City, Emporia and Garden City are some of my favorate spots), US 400 (between Wichita and Pittsburgh is the best also Fredonia area is very nice, so is the drive between Pratt and Wichita), Us 83 (I heart that drive though Gove county! Also Between Garden City/Liberal or Garden City/Dodge), or US 69 Between Kansas City and Pittsburgh. Yes you can see nice scenic parts of Kasnas on the interstate but much of the beauty like the Grasslands near Elkhart, Lake Scott, Ly Cygne, Wilson Lake, Sand Sage Prarie and such are far from it.

I have driven all those roads and its all the same, you just get a closer look at the same flat dirt. The only amazing thing is how the land changes when you hit the Missouri boarder. 50 miles inside MO and you are now in some very nice area. But Kansas is ground hog country.

loansomeroadsbeck...

I'm guessing you have never been anywhere east of Wichita off the interstate. If you have driven 69 from KC to Pittsburg, you would know that it is essentially identical to missouri 50 miles in. It's not the Ozarks, but for the most part Eastern KS= Western MO

It's funny the number of 1-post wonders that pop up on here for the sole purpose of instigating negativity.

Well, they are almost all the same troll. The 50-something loser forced to relocate here. If the posts are littered with spelling errors and bad grammar it's generally the tip off.

Ask people about Wichita and all you get is how good the shopping is or that is has a few places to eat. WOW really? I would move across country to eat at a Kansas Ihop. Shopping? Really, next you will tell me how good the roads are, wait you already did that. I could play the old game of how you say things, if you tell a woman she has a face that could stop a clock, she gets mad but tell her that she has a face that makes time stand still and she gets all giddie but you have said the same thing. Kansas is a place that makes time stand still.
Aw, the old man who can't spell and has no life is back to cry some more.
