Singles on Kauai (Honolulu: living, moving to, rich)

I have been debating a move to Kauai. I am curious how the dating scene is for those in their 20's and 30's. I am 37 (male).
I don't expect it to be like where I am now (SF Bay area), or like Honolulu, or even Maui. But if Kauai is no place for a single person then I would seriously reconsider. Then again, I have people in SF telling me how hard it is to meet someone so who knows? I guess I just don't want to put myself somewhere where it is 100% honeymooners and couples.

Living on Kauai I would say that if you are a white male then you'll have problems, if Asian then no problem. Kauai is a small rural island and the population base is quite small.
LOL. I have been to Oahu, Maui, BI and Kauai. Believe me, Kauai is my 1st choice. I am keeping the possibility open of course. Maybe even live on Oahu for a few months, then go to Kauai this summer.

Unless you're young and asian or a chicken..you wont meet any potential mates there...Kauai is the definition of "living on a island"
