This was in this week's local paper about Lake Barkley State Resort Park 10 miles from Cadiz.

It's about a 25-30 minute drive to the Louisville, but land is relatively cheap and it faces the possibility of land value increasing. Brandenburg is in Hardin County.
Brandenburg is in Meade County.

I was recently in Cadiz and very much enjoyed the burgoo at the Hot Diggity Dog, downtown next to City Hall. I'm no expert but it tasted good to me.

They have a sign on the corner saying Hot Diggity Dog is listed as one of the top50 places to eat in Kentucky. It's been a while since I've had anything to eat there but it is good! Shame they're only open during lunch. Cadiz is gearing up for the Country Ham Festival the weekend of October 8. Come and sample some of the 4,000 pound country ham biscuit!
