Nervous Melvin (Lexington, Louisville, Ashland: credit, motel, college)

Jerry hasn't been in the band for 2 years and you just noticed? Well, maybe you and your husband doesn't get out much that often. Anywho, Tody's partner Denny is truely what makes the band "special." I think there just great! I just hope Deny and Todd return to Gerstles Bar in St Matheuws soon, I miss them. All the time I say to the girls, let's drive on over to the East End and see old Nervous Melvin and the Mistakes. Then they remind me what a long drive it is from here in Shively, but then I say I'll pay for the gas and then They call over there to Gerstles and find out the Nervous Melvin isn't playing, then we end up hang out at DT's Lounge all night. Make no Mistake I miss Nervous Melvin too. And Honey I love ya for speakin up. Nervous Melvin still Rules Louisville Kentucky!

Hi There, Right back at ya. Your pretty! Your Husbands fine too! You know Diane Sawyers is from Shively. Todd Bensenhaver(Guitar) and Scott Lankford(Drums) for Nervous Melvin and the Mistakes are from PRP. There sure is alot of talent from around Shively. I love the it here! Thanks!

Hey--sounds like I'm not the only one missing Nervous Melvin and Gerstles. The band will be returning to Dutch's Tavern which is just down the street (Frankfort Avenue) from Gerstles. Their first gig there is August 22 from 10:00 to 1:30. They will also be at Smith-Berry Winery in New Castle, Kentucky, on Saturday, August 9. The band should also have a website up in the next few days, so it will be easier to know when they have gigs that are open to the public.

I doubt Jerry is ever coming back to Nervous Melvin and the Mistakes. It's my understanding that Todd fired Jerry. I can look into it and let you know for sure, but that's the way I understand it. I'll ask Scott and Dennis.

Sorry. Scott and Dennis didn't like Jerry. So, Todd fired him. Guess Todd didn't think too much of Jerry either. Too bad. He made them sound great. Which, I'm sure was a lot of work. Miss him.
