Marshall co is dry, the people are friendly and there are a number of places to eat, not far from Patties in Grand Rivers which is where people come from all over to eat at. Shopping is limited it's a small town near Benton and Paducah, where you can do plenty of shopping. You should be able to get most of you day to day stuff in Gilbertsville though.
