Info on Accountant Salaries (Lexington, Louisville: salary, taxation, living)

I was wondering if anybody knew what an accountant with 3 years of experience and a masters in taxation could expect as far as salary goes in Lexington or Louisville???

I too am wondering about expectations for salary. I am not a CPA but have 25 years in private and public accounting...specializing in manufacturing accouting as a controller.

Pacalady,

I do have one thing that I know to offer you. I spoke to somebody at Robert Half and they told me that Louisville pays around 93.5% of the national average and Lexington about 85%. This will only help if you know the national average where you are now. She said that Phoenix is at 106%.

I know accounts in the western end of the state, and might be able to find out something from them. I know nothing about the Lou/Lex area ...

Keep in mind to compare the national average to the national average cost of living too. Phx might pay 106% but what is the cost of housing and living compared to Ky's 86-93% ... you'll all accounts I'm sure you can do that math.
