Smile moving to kentucky

Moving to kentucky in the next couple of months and we are looking in the richmond, berea and estill county(irvine) areas. Is there anybody out there that can tell me about the school districts(especially middle school) and the crime rates in the areas and if they like the area or not. Anything would be helpful.

Just my opinion of course, but out of the three... I would personally pick Berea. Great area, smaller town atmosphere, beautiful landscape, close enough to commute if needed, way less crime, good schools, cheaper to live, etc.
Berea is just an all around historic, nice, small college, artsy town. NICE@
