Yes, but it's been about 4 years ago. It was a charming place. Unlike staying in a hotel there was lots of green space and playground equipment for the kids. The only complaint was that the mattresses felt as old as the wigwams! There were large coils that you could feel. Even though our son was only 5 at the time he complained about how uncomfortable the beds were (and this is a kid that can sleep about anywhere). I would recommend calling and inquiring if they have put in new mattresses before I would stay there again.
There are lots of family friendly acitivities in the area. Ky Down Under takes a couple of hours to go through and has a small cave (takes about 30-45 minutes to go through it). There is also a small amusement park, Ky Action Park. It has a fun Alpine Slide, bumper boats, miniature golf, bumper cars, and offers horse back riding. I haven't been but many friends say that Guntown Mountain is fun too. The funniest thing is Dinosaur World. There are large replicas of many dino's and they are painted bizzarre colors. Of course who could prove that t-rex wasn't purple?
check out www.cavecity.com for other area attractions. If you're going to Mammoth Cave go to their website to make reservations in advance. Many of the cave tours sell out.

Thank you! I already knew about the attractions but have never stayed in the wigwams. I took my kids to one of the amusement areas today and we had a ball! It's only 1 1/2 hour from here so it was just a day trip.

Thumbs down Wigwam Motel

I recently stayed at the Wigwam...my room smelled like poo...had raccoons running around and no ac...i had to use the facilities Outside behind the hut because the inside smelled like a dead rat.. the kids and us went to dinosaur world the next day and you talk about a waste of 28 bucks i would have rather bought a carton of smokes which i found out you cant smoke inside and that got me irratated or however you spell it...if i was to rent a wigwam i would reccommend bringing your own port o let and having them pay for it i wont be back anytime soon

The next day i awoke and my 78 dodge ram got broken into..someone had thrown human waste in my front seat...i was mad at the time but at least my whisky and cigarettes remained in the center console...my youngest son was using the restroom before we finally left that place and found what looked like an egg shaped object with a handle on it...i told him to not touch it and i would be contacting the owner...once i did he couldnt explain the break in and the object found in the toilet...we had to desantize ourselfs once we went into town and had lunch at the local long john silvers...at least their restrooms didnt have things floating in the toilets

Denny from Kentucky

Thumbs down terrible

what a dump. there were more flys and bugs here than in a trash dump. i started with a fly swatter and had to go to the friggin walmart and buy 7 bug bombs. i then had to sleep outside in my sleeping bag since the bombs were dangerous to inhale.

this place should be bulldozed. it would be more valuable with weeds growing on it than the crap they have there now.

there were also some punk kids smoking what i believe to be marijuana outside. i told them to keep it down and they told me to 'blank' off.

there was also some writing in our bathroom for sexual favors and they had a phone # to call if we were interested.

i also went to some kind of dinosaur exhibit. the guy who sold us tickets tried to overcharge us saying today was a "dinosaur appreciation holiday." that doesnt even make sense.

when we got back to our wigwam, i noticed out beds had been used as we had put the covers on them. i found a used condom on the floor, cigarette butts, a roach clip, and some beads on a rope. i dont know what they are, but they smelled like human waste. i told my daughter to quit playing with them and we threw them away.
