They're a bloomin' part of life now, honeybun. And, they will be a social problem for as long as I live, that's for sure. Best make sure they're not on your horse.

The lack of awareness, never mind serious interest, is staggering.

If this is part of that school situation close to or in Kenton county near the river, I haven't heard any more on the matter other than there was one (or possibly some) in an insolated circumstance and the matter has supposedly been addressed.

If this is in reference to the old situation in the library of (I think) Burlington, I'd call them and ask for current information.

If this is a straight out question, call your local government office. Some towns go by code enforcement and some places boil down to it's between you and the landlord, who may very well leave it up to you. You might also call the health department and ask about the latest information they have.

It is the landlord that is responsible for extermination. Anywhere one rents, the landlord should be responsible for the upkeep of the building.

Not so. One big loophole on the bed bugs is that they are not known to carry disease.

The proposed federal law (House Bill 967) would change the classification for the insect, and that would help in this regard; but, I don't know where that stands -- among other things I'm trying to get acquainted with an entirely new computer system.

To the best of my (current) knowledge, a tenant has the option of reporting the landlord to local code enforcement, if there is such an office. That's how it's been in Covington and Newport. Seems like there was at least one other town, but I don't remember what it was, and that is in the Blue Grass Region.

I went back and looked at some of the threads you started and you're complaining about this one?
