Henderson can be a wonderful place to live. You can get many places in the world fast. It's two hours to Nashville, Louisville, three to St. Louis, & four to Cincinnati or Indianapolis. As a single parent, I raised my daughter there during her elementary school years, and I was very pleased. There is not a lot of "great" night life, although there is some and with the Casino and horse track. The shopping is grade b- (if Chicago is A+), but will cover 95% of all commodities well.

I would definitely consider Henderson as a good option.
