Default Newer doublewide for sale in London area?

My husband and I are trying to get relocated from Michigan to the London, KY area. We're retiring.

We're looking for a newer (within about 5 years), nice double wide manufactured home. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths on cement foundation, already has driveway and a garage would be great!

We would buy a brand new one, but then we'd have to find and pay extra for land, have a driveway put in.. etc.. etc. My husband is partially handicapped, so it can't be anything that needs a lot of TLC.

Please reply if you know of anything decent in the area.

Thank you so much!
Cat

OH MY GOSH!! 30 people viewed this and nobody has any ideas? I'm in big trouble! Ok, how about a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, regular house for under $100,000? <sigh> Maybe we won't find anything in London

Call any of the Realtors in London I'm sure they can help you. I know of a house but it's a little more than 100,000.

Look at londonky.com it appears to have some good info on where to look.

Default home

Do you happen to have the address to that house for about $115? I look on the London/Corbin classified site every day. I think you call it londonky.com. Anyway, if you have any info, I sure would appreciate it. We're driving down again next month to look. Ugh.. this is harder than people think.. relocating, that is.

Have a great day

Thanks,
Cat

I thought a Michgan couple moving to Corbin seemed familiar and was amazed to find that you've been asking/looking about Corbin for the last four years. http://www.city-data.com/forum/searc...rchid=34961028

Relocating to Corbin, KY
Is London or Breckenridge area a nicer place to live?
Help! Relocating to Corbin/London from Michigan
Does anybody actually LIVE in Corbin, KY?

There hasn't been much change in the housing situation (cost, availability, etc) in Corbin over the last four years. Plenty of homes are available for under $100,000. I'd steer away from the trailers since the doorways are generally smaller and the framing is non-existent when making the necessary changes for the disabled.

Well it is possible that some just take a long time to move. Maybe she is just doing a lot of research and saving up as much money as possible??
