anyone on here commute to cincy from lets say Park Hills, or Florence, Bellevue area on into cincy, or vise versa. Just want to know if it is realistic for me to live in the ky side, and work in cincy. I would be going to the southwest side of cincy! I was even thinking maybe renting in Newport for a while. Does it depend on which interstate you are using pretty much?

How is the daily traffic, and in winter how much slower does the commute time get with snow and ice.

I used to live in Villa Hills and would take Amsterdam Rd (back way) to Park Hills and through Covington to pick up 75 right at bridge and avoided the horrid traffic coming down the cut in the hill. It took me about 20 minutes door to parking garage of various clients downtown.

It takes bout 20 minutes to go to Rookwood, sometimes 25-30 depending on time of day.

If you choose Ft Wright, Covington, Newport, Park Hills, Ft Mitchell or Villa -- you'll be fine with downtown commute if you take back roads to avoid the highway traffic during rush hour.

Good luck. For reference, I lived many years ago in Ft Mitchell and worked in Mason and I left 40 minutes to get to work and usually got there in time if I didn't hit traffic jam, ice, snow or heavy rain.
