Default Housing Market

Hi
I am wondering what the realty market is like out in Kentucky? It is horrendous here in California and am wondering if housing are selling just the same there or very slow like here.

Thanks for any info

Kentucky homes are moving. As the Principal Broker of a medium sized firm, we are seeing quite a bit of activity. Homes must be priced right and there are certain price ranges that are doing much better than others, but we are "steady". Realtors are learning that they have to deliver value rather than just throwing a sign in the yard and posting on an MLS.

Thankyou for your reply, where in Kentucky are you located? We have planned our move for a long time for our retirement, but now we cant sell our home here in S California, its such a huge dissapointment for us so far.

Margaret, I am honored to reply. I grew up in the Owensboro, Kentucky area, lived for 10 years in Henderson, and 10 years in eastern Louisville, and now over 5 in Oldham County. There are many wonderful places to retire in Kentucky. We have four distinct seasons with hot summers, beautifully colored falls, dang cold winters, and extraordinarily hopeful springs. You will like Kentucky. I can help you anywhere in Kentucky or Indiana, but for now, I prefer to "sell Kentucky" not a particular property.

If I might, please let me ask some tough questions of you. What did you pay for your CA home? How long ago? What price do you have it listed for now? Is it listed with a Realtor? How many did you interview before listing, and why did you choose the Realtor you did?
